New Chicago Vegan Ice Cream Pop-Up Launches to Raise Money for Social Justice

Chicago’s JUSTice Cream stands for social justice. The new, woman-led company is debuting a line of vegan ice cream in the Windy City and 100% net profit will go to organizations fighting for change.

Thank you for your interest in uplifting Justice Cream. Please be aware that, as a transformative justice organization, we are intentional with our communications and do not chase after clout or publicity. We reject celebrity and pedestals. Our communications are strictly focused on raising awareness of our movement and on uplifting transformative justice narratives.

As a lean organization whose priority is on programming and advocacy, we do not have much capacity to respond to media requests. If you would like to generate a media piece (news article, blog post, etc.), please use website contents and previous articles.

For interviews/speaking engagements, we require the following:

​

1) The right to review all materials (transcripts, drafts, etc.) prior to publication. Materials must be approved by Justice Cream before distribution.

2) A donation to sustain our organization.

​

3) No photography or names of any team members, for safety purposes. Photos of products are allowed.
